Site work for a municipal facility in Tahoe City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
**As of August 16, 2023, project was awarded to Front Signs , awarded amount is $116,534.34.** The work to be performed for this project consists of all labor, material, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to construct and install 9 separate signs of various sizes at 5 separate sites. Materials include concrete footings, stone veneer, wood, hardware, and signage boards. Three of the signs will include lighting. Liquidated Damages: $500 License Requirements: California Class B or C45 This project is a public works project and is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), in accordance with the State of California Labor Code (Labor Code) Section 1770, et seq. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project and no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public works on a public works project unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. The successful Bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the DIR. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file with the Districts Engineering Department and may also be found on the DIR Questions pertaining to predetermined wage rates should be directed to the California Division of Labor Statistics and Research at (415) 703-4280. The successful Bidder shall possess the following valid California contractors license classification(s): California Class B or a C45 at the time of the bid submittal. Bidders license shall remain in effect at the time of the bid award and throughout the term of this contract. Attention is directed to Section 3.15 STANDARD PROVISIONS of the Project Specifications regarding required qualifications of the Contractor. Bids must be made on the official Bid Proposal Form furnished with the contract documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond consisting of certified check, cashiers check, or satisfactory corporate surety bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount and made payable to Tahoe City Public Utility District. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Tahoe City Public Utility District, (Project Name), and the envelope should bear on the outside, the name, address and contractors license number of the Bidder. District reserves the right, in its discretion, to accept the lowest responsible bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid or the bid process, to determine the responsibility of any Bidder, and/or to determine which bid is most advantageous to the District. After the opening of bids, bids may only be withdrawn in strict accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code section 5100, et seq. Bids must remain valid for a period of sixty (60) days following the bid opening. Award of the bid is subject to the availability of funds Q&A Deadline July 5, 2023 5:00 PM (PDT)
