Control Number 17712011 This contract includes but is not limited to the supply of all materials, labour, supervision, layout and equipment necessary to complete all Phase 1 Site Work for the Vanier Hall Parking Lot Rehabilitation as per drawings, specifications. Scope of work to include removal of existing asphalt, replacement of existing granular base and subbase, storm sewer upgrades, and new curb and gutter and sidewalk. It is imperative that the project number and name be identified in the Subject Line of the email. If it is not, then your bid will not be received. Note: vanierhallsitework@gmail.com is a "one-way" email site, it will not be accessed until after the bid closing time indicated above. Only Contractors that formally request the Tender package from dwinchester@hatchard.ca are eligible to submit a Tender. Contractor's Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tendered quotation. The certified cheque shall be made out to St. Thomas University. For this project we will be accepting scanned versions of Bid Bonds. For these, we will be verifying their authenticity with the associated insurance broker or bonding company prior to award. Those companies who do not have bonding capability will be able to submit a scanned copy of an Irrevocable letter of Credit or certified cheque (actual cheque to be obtained prior to award). A public opening of the received Bids will not take place. The results of the received bids may not be available until the following day. No decision on acceptance or rejection of received bids will be made at this time. The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted.
