This Request for Quote (RFQ) is an invitation for qualified suppliers to submit a Quote for the supply of two (2) natural gas DC power generators as further described in the specifications provided. SaskTel is seeking to purchase two natural gas powered DC generators for testing to assess the feasibility of this technology for use in SaskTel wireless sites to supply backup power during power grid outages. It is SaskTel's intention to purchase a 10KW and 20KW generator, each of different manufacturer to conduct a trial program. This will NOT be for ongoing purchases. Should SaskTel decide to proceed with implementation of this type of equipment, a request for quotation will be issued at a future date. The successful bidder must be licensed by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Finance as required by The Provincial Sales Tax Act of Sask. At or before the time of award of a contract for the Deliverables to the successful bidder in this procurement event, SaskTel may require the successful bidder to provide to SaskTel a PST Letter of Good Standing from Sask. Finance or if the successful bidder is not eligible for a Letter of Good Standing, a Letter of Registration from Sask. Finance may be provided to SaskTel if the successful bidder has a valid PST license. The successful bidder will be granted up to 10 days from the date of contract award to provide a Letter of Good Standing or Letter of Registration if required by SaskTel.
