Site work for a mixed-use development in Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Question Deadline 06/26/2023 at 12:00 PM ET The project involves drainage improvements in the areas adjacent to the emergency access drive at the CREC University of Harford Magnet School Building. The current drainage system has been causing flooding and water damage to the school's infrastructure. The proposed solution should provide a more efficient and effective drainage system to prevent future flooding incidents. - Install erosion controls & tree protection. - Clear and grub area within Limit of Disturbance (LOD) boundary. (Preserve and protect the existing emergency drive to remain.) - Furnish and Install storm drainage. - Load and transport spoils to stockpile area onsite. - Rough grade areas within LOD boundary. - Rake and seed 4" of topsoil in disturbed area to establish final grade. - Remaining spoils/topsoil to be removed from site. - Check installed storm drainage components for accumulated sediment and clean if necessary. - Erosion controls to remain in place until lawn areas are established and site is stabilized.
