The Brockport Fire District Invites Bids for the Following Contracts: 1. Mechanical Work For the Proposed "Station 1 Boiler Replacement" Located at 38 Market Street, Brockport, New York 14420. All Questions in Regards to the Meaning of the Plans, Specifications, or Other Contract Documents Will Not Be Made Verbally. All Requests for Such Information (Rfi) Must Be Made in Writing, Addressed to: A. Labella Associates, Dpc, 300 State Street Suite 201, Rochester, Ny 14614 Attn: Brett Driscoll, Email: Bdriscoll@labellape.com Note: All Rfi's Must Be Received No Later Than June 5, 2023 at Noon Each Bidder Shall Deposit With Its Bid, Security in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Base Bid in the Form and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the "Instructions to Bidders." No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within Forty Five (45) Days After the Actual Bid Opening. The Brockport Fire District Reserves the Right to Waive Any and All Informalities in or to Reject Any or All Bids. The following list of work items describes this project in general and is included for convenience only. The Contractor shall submit lump sum information prices attached to Bid Form based upon the following list of multiple project locations when applicable. The work of this project is described more completely elsewhere in the Contract Documents and compliments/supersedes the following list. Contractors shall attend all meetings and comply fully with the detailed specifications and drawings that are part of this Contract. Station 1 Boiler System Replacement 1. Existing Hot Water Piping Insulation, ACM Abatement to points indicated to facilitate piping work and reconnection. 2. Removal of existing boiler, near piping, accessories, controls, and system pumps as indicated on drawings. 3. Electrical feed and connection to Boiler(s), Controls and Pump(s). 4. Natural Gas piping work. 5. Concrete pad and structural support/penetration work 6. Existing steel breaching removal to points indicated and cap. 7. Cap top of existing masonry chimney weather tight. 8. Code required commissioning of new boiler system and controls. 9. Alternate work as described/accepted. 2. The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation required to complete the project as specified and as shown in the contract documents.
