Site work for a water / sewer project in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Berkeley County is requesting proposals that include dredging and disposal of the material to the depths and limits shown by the attached documents. The dredging shall include but not limited to mobilization, demobilization, dredging, transportation, disposal and supervision for approximately 150,000 CY of unclassified sediments within the dredge area described below and shown on the attached surveys. Question Deadline 07/14/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Bids in excess of $100,000.00 will require a 5% Bid Bond. Liquidated Damages: The Successful Bidder shall agree that if the Work, or any part thereof, is not completed within the time agreed and indicated in the Contract Document that he shall be liable to the County in the amount of Eight Hundred and 00/100, ($800.00) Dollars per day for each and every calendar day the completion of the Work is delayed beyond the time provided in the Contract. Berkeley County reserves the right: To accept or reject any or all bids received as a result of this solicitation, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this solicitation if it is in the best interest of the County to do so; To waive any or all informalities; To solicit additional information from the Offerors, or any one Offeror should Berkeley County deem such information necessary; To consider modifications received at any time before the award is made, if such action is in the best interest of the County; and, To negotiate contract terms, conditions.
