Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Labor, installaon, and purchase of all material needed to complete removal and disposal of approximately 300 linear feet of asbestos TSI. In addion, remove and dispose of 3 inches of asbestos contaminated topsoil from the dirt floor in the crawlspace located in the southwest corner of the building. All work must be conducted using Class 1 Asbestos work engineering controls and procedures as defined by OSHA (29 CFR 1926.1101), MA DEP (310 CMR, 7.15) and DLS Response Acon requirements (454 CMR 28.10). At the end of each workday, remove rubbish, empty cans, rags, and other discarded materials from the Project site. The vendor must submit a Payment Bond equal to fiy percent (50%) of the value of the contract within (5) five days of being awarded the contract.
