The general nature of the work on which bids will be received consists of the construction of 12.47 kV primary electric underground circuits. The project includes the installation of Owner-furnished padmount switchgear, box pads, and 15 kV primary cable in Contractor-furnished and installed conduit in trench, bore, or other excavations. Additional Description: Base Bid = $782,000.00 Optional Bid = $159,000.00 Total= $941,000.00 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. 7.02 Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, or change the Bidding Documents
