This specification is intended as a basis for the inspection and supplemental treatment of Southern Pine wood poles. The City of Weatherford utilizes treated Southern Pine poles in its' distribution system. All poles in the scope shall receive a ground-line test and visual inspection and reported only if further action is warranted. All poles more than 10 years old and CCA poles more than 20 years old shall be inspected to provide OWNER with information on the condition of the structure both above and below the ground-line.
