Renovation of a water / sewer project in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Reference Number 0000322792 in May 2018, Metro completed a comprehensive Air Flow Management and Odor Control Study (PAR 1245), which evaluated odor issues at the Robert W. Hite Treatment Facility (RWHTF) and throughout the sewer Transmission System. PAR 1245 identified odor control measures, developed a comprehensive odor management plan, evaluated mitigation options, and provided a recommended implementation timeline for odor mitigation. Odor emission rates were quantified and five hot-spot reaches were recommended for treatment with the intent of eliminating odor complaints while meeting local regulations. Two of the interceptors identified in the Transmission System for odor mitigation were Delgany and South Thornton.
