As of December 21, 2023, funding has been approved. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, completion is expected by fall of 2026. A detailed scope has not yet been released. Forest Hill High School Project: New parking lot, renovations and repairs. The project will create a parking lot across Parker Avenue from the high school after years of crowding in the lot that has forced some students to park illegally in the surrounding neighborhoods during the day. The school district owns 1 acre immediately east of Forest Hill High. The project also includes: Renovating and repairing the exterior of the school, including replacing some doors and windows, re-finishing areas of stucco, replacing gutters, waterproofing, renovating outdoor staircases, replacing signs and upgrading the intercom and sound system. Replacing the fire sprinkler system, upgrading fire alarms and replacing smoke detectors. Refinishing the gym floor and replacing outdoor scoreboards. Replacing a bathroom and finishing plumbing work related to drinking water fountains. _______________________________________ The ARCHITECT shall provide all professional services necessary to deliver Permitted Design Documents within the established GMP Construction Budget and in accordance with the established Design Schedule.
