Renovation of an educational facility in Akron, Ohio. Working plans call for the renovation of a 400,000-square-foot educational facility.
As of February 25 2026, this is in design , construction will start in April or May 2026 , and it has a GC The vision for the 400,000-square-foot building in the heart of downtown is a reimagined space for the city and the university to experience the arts, including new performing arts spaces. There also could still be classroom spaces for students, other collaborative areas and non-university functions. As of April 19 2024, an architect has been selected. Design has not yet begun. A construction start date has not been disclosed.
