As of September 16, 2024, the project was awarded to Marcy Excavation Services, with an awarded amount of $713,968.75. The Base Bid includes milling the existing asphalt pavement and constructing a concrete pad approximately 1,830 SY. It also includes installation of 174 linear feet of storm drain, approximately 180 linear feet of trench drain, approximately 80 tons of asphalt paving and pavement markings. A bid alternate of asphalt pavement in lieu of concrete is included. Bidders shall be bonded and insured to the amounts shown. The contract also has an M/WBE goal and prevailing wage rates apply. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the preparation of Proposal. This project is funded by a grant from the New York State Department of Transportation, Aviation Bureau. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
