The City of Bullhead City, Arizona is extending an Invitation for Bid The Project involves installing two new production wells for the Bullhead City public water supply system. This work includes drilling, construction, development, testing and disinfection of the new wells. The intent of the project is to drill and construct the two new water supply wells The City of Bullhead City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses or parts thereto. Technical Questions regarding the substance of this IFB must be in writing or by email and received no later than July 11, 2023. Questions may then be responded to by written amendment to this document. Oral statements or instructions do not constitute an amendment to the IFB. The work involves installing two new production wells for the Bullhead City public water supply system. Well 24-2 will replace Well 24-1, and the boring S-1 location will provide a new well supply location. This work includes drilling, construction, development, testing and disinfection of the new wells The intent of the project is to drill and construct the two new water supply wells with a design capacity of 1,400 gpm each, or greater. B. Abandonment of existing Well 24-1 is to be bid as an Optional, Owner approved task. C. New Wells 24-2 and Well S-1 are to be constructed to the following design dimensions. The actual final depths shall be finalized by the Engineer from the pilot hole drilling results and provided to the Contractor within 5 days following pilot hole completion and receipt of the sieve analysis results.
