Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Reading, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Town of Reading is requesting quotes to furnish and install fencing, including the repair of some existing fence components, at various locations within the Town. 1. Public Works garage (75 Newcrossing Road) -locus is on the southern property line Furnish and install (450 feet) 8' black vinyl, 8-gauge chain link fence o SS-40 black industrial pipe o 2-1/2" x 10'-6" line posts o 3" x 12' terminal post (westerly terminal point only; easterly terminal point shall be attached to the existing 8' black vinyl chain link fence terminal post) o 1-5/8" top and bottom rail o Fence location shall be staked out by Town prior to installation o All existing vegetation and stockpiled material which abuts the property line and fence location shall be removed by the Town prior to installation o Fence posts shall be installed in minimum 3000 psi concrete o All spoil shall be removed from the site Page 2 of 7 2. Woodend Cemetery (entrance opposite Lenetta Lane) - locus is surrounding the cemetery's material storage area in the northeast rear corner of the cemetery (see attached) o Furnish and install (128 feet) 6' black vinyl (with black privacy slats), 8-gauge chain link fence o SS-40 black industrial pipe o 2-1/2" x 8'-6" line posts o 3" x 10' terminal posts (see attached layout plan) o 1-5/8" top and bottom rail o All fabric shall include black privacy slats o Fence location shall be per the attached layout plan. o Fence posts shall be installed in minimum 3000 psi concrete o All spoil shall be removed from the site 3. Forest Glen Cemetery (intersection of Pearl St and Forest Glen Rd.) - southern property line on top of wall (see attached) o Repair location #1 o Remove and replace 10' galvanized top rail (1.25" +- O.D.) o Remove and replace fabric (4' by 10' green vinyl, 8 gauge, to match existing) o Repair location #2 o Install new galvanized top rail coupling (1.5" +- O.D.) o Repair location #3 o Remove and replace 10' galvanized top rail (1.25" +- O.D.) o Remove and replace fabric (4' by 10' green vinyl, 8 gauge, to match existing) 4. Joshua Eaton school property (365 Summer Ave.) - all locations are along the westerly property line abutting the athletic fields (see attached) o Repair location #1 o Remove and replace 21' galvanized top rail (1.75" +- O.D.) o Remove and replace fabric (5.5' by 20' galvanized, 9 gauge, to match existing) o Repair location #2 o Remove and replace 20' galvanized top rail (1.75" +- O.D.) o Remove and replace fabric (5.5' by 20' galvanized, 9 gauge, to match existing) o Repair location #3 o Remove and replace 20' galvanized top rail (1.75" +- O.D.) o Remove and replace fabric (5.5' by 20' galvanized, 9 gauge, to match existing) This quote shall include all permitting and incidentals necessary to complete the work in full. Please provide a lump sum price for each location. Any work abutting school property must be done when school is not in session.
