Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Huron, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
The City of Huron requests formal bids on a general contract for the construction of new Solid Waste Transfer Station in Huron, SD. Work for this Contract shall consist, but not be limited to, furnishing all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, storage facilities, services, and supplies required to complete the following Mobilization, clearing and grubbing, grading, surfacing, fencing & gates installation, construction of the new Transfer Station and Scale House buildings with associated scale, installation of water and sanitary sewer services, construction of the new Public Drop-off Area and 24/7 Yard Waste Drop-off Area, and any other work as indicated in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, and issued by a State or National Bank and made payable to the City of Huron, or in lieu thereof a bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The City of Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, waive technicalities, and make awards as deemed to be in the best interest of Huron, SD.
