Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hanford, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 31,478-square-foot municipal facility.
The Kings County Area Public Transit Agency is to construct a new mixed-use transit center, administrative offices, and commercial/retail. The Project will consist of the following buildings: Building A - Two Story Office Building: Two Story building with wood framed floor and roof systems with TJI joists and glu-lam beams, plywood shear walls. Building A will be separated from Building B with a seismic joint. Building B - Transit Center: Single Story building with a combination of wood and steel trusses supporting wood roof joists, and plywood shear walls. Building C - Single Story Office Building: Single-story office building with wood framed gable roof with gang nail trusses, a flat roof with wood joists and glu-lam beams, and plywood shear walls. Bus Canopy: bus shelter canopies with steel metal deck with HSS joists and beams. HSS cantilever columns will be used for the gravity and lateral system. Prequalification is NOT required for this project.
