The scope of work within this ITQ includes all necessary materials, labour, tools, and equipment for the provision of Streetlight Maintenance Included in the scope of work, the City asks for the creation of a long-term Streetlight Inspection Plan. The bidder will develop a model for an Inspection Plan to assist with long range planning and replacement recommendations. The services will be required anywhere in the City of Colwood and will require specialized vehicles and lifts. Services must be available Business Days and will be required on an "as and when required" basis for emergency services. Business days will be understood to mean Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30pm. Requested work is to be completed within 7 business days of notification, in a non-emergency situation. If a delay is required due to missing parts, they City is to be notified. The City will expect the bidder to be on-site performing work within 4 hours in the event of an emergency The term of this contract shall be for the remainder of the 2023 calendar year with the option to renew it at the discretion of the Director of Public Works for Two (2) additional One (1) year term. Proposed rate changes for any subsequent years will require written approval by the City of Colwood. All works will be subject to annual budget approval.
