Following the closure of the bid submittal period, bids will be publicly opened and read for performing work as follows: Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction of the project known as Centennial and Larry Moore Park Asphalt Path Repairs, DPW 23-05, according to drawings and specifications prepared by the City of El Paso de Robles and according to the Contract Documents. The work shall include, but is not limited to removal and replacement of 3" and 4" asphalt sections, as well as the application of a Type II Slurry Seal at various locations throughout both Centennial Park and Larry Moore Park. All work shall be performed as described in the Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and as shown in the Exhibit of the and/or as specified herein. Project is to be completed within Sixty (60) WORKING days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed City does not assume any liability or responsibility based on any defective or incomplete copying, excerpting, scanning, faxing, downloading or printing of the Bid Documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, as well as a faithful performance bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The bonds shall be on the forms included in the Contract Documents. City reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to make any awards or any rejections in what it alone considers to be in the best interest of City and waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids. The contract will be awarded, if at all, to the responsible bidder that submits the lowest responsive bid. City will determine the low bid.
