Sealed bids will be received for furnishing the Wexford County Road Commission with the following: Asphalt Rubber Chipseal with Fog Seal, by the Syd The Wexford County Road Commission, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, disability, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of the same, to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to make the award in part or entirety in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the Wexford County Road Commission. Contractors / suppliers that do not honor their bid throughout the season may, at WCRC discretion, be precluded from future bid lettings. These bids, by mutual agreement of both parties, may be extended for additional one-year periods, each year hereafter. Request for contract extensions must be in writing and received by the Road Commission prior to bidding of seasonal supplies of each year for the upcoming year. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
