Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in New Hartford, Connecticut. Working plans call for the construction of a 250-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of July 11, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. No definite date for the rebid. o Clear any and all required trees, o Excavate the site to prepare for foundation and septic including accessing park utilities (electricity & water) already onsite (per plans), o Construct septic system per plan, o Construct bathroom building per plan, o Work with Town Officials and their agents on clarifying specifications within the plans, o Work with Town Officials on color selections for finishes and shingles (contractor to provide selections), o Clean up of grounds surrounding the job site (daily - for nails and/or construction debris). The Town reserves the right to waive informalities, non-material defects, or clerical errors in any proposal. The Town also reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or any part of a proposal, when said action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town reserves the right to negotiate with one or more respondent as it sees fit. Proposals will be evaluated based on what is in the best interest of the Town.
