The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is seeking submittals for the labour, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the construction, completion, and commissioning of the Sioux Lookout Airport Road Upgrade project. The work includes, but is not limited to: - Demolish and remove existing asphalt (~50mm). Dispose off-site. Location for disposal of removed granular, asphalt or general fill is approximately 1km from the site. Material to be dumped as directed on-site - Sub-excavate minimum 150mm existing base and dispose off-site. Proof roll, grade and compact. - Place minimum 150mm Granular A and compact to 98% SPMDD. Minimum travel width of 8m plus 0.5m shoulder rounding. Provide 2% crown. - Driveway Entrances: - Sawcut existing asphalt driveway entrances / service yards 2m back from edge of road. - Sub-excavate minimum 150mm existing base and dispose off-site. Proof roll, grade and compact. - Place 150mm Granular A, grade and compact to 98% SPMDD. - Place 80mm HL4 for road and all driveway entrances. - Reinstate ditch geometry complete with riprap protection. Ensure ditch invert is minimum 750mm below asphalt surface. - Provide new 450mm CSP below all driveway entrances - Other miscellaneous Works as shown on the Drawings and presented in the Schedule of Unit Prices The last date and time for inquires with respect to this tender shall be June 30, 2023, Friday at 2:00 pm CST.
