Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Muscatine, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project consists replacing the irrigation system on Fields 1-6 and connecting two adjacent irrigation areas to the new new irrigation system in Muscatine, Iowa Work on the improvement shall commence upon approval of the contract by the Council and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work under the Contract must be substantially complete on or before March 30, 2024 (Owner's preference is for the work to be completed by end of 2023). Damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed for each day the work remains incomplete. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Section 468.35 of the Iowa Code in the amount equal to 5 percent of the total amount of the bid The City of Muscatine reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A. The work is located in the City of Muscatine. All work shall be completed in accordance with SUDAS 1080 as follows: Early Start Date: September 1 st , 2023 Late Start Date: October 1 st , 2023 Completion Date: No later than March 30, 2024
