Renovation of a fire / police facility in East Moline, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This project will be a complete removal of all existing shingles and replacement with a similar color 30- year architectural shingle. Owens Corning Duration brand is preferred. The bid should include the per sheet price of wood replacement decking should a need be discovered upon removal of the existing shingles. The brown steel flashing that separates the mansard roof from the flat roof does not need replaced. Work will be coordinated with the East Moline Fire Department to limit any hindrance of emergency vehicle response from the fire station. This project will start will be continued daily until completed except holidays and Sundays. Daily cleanup of debris including nails is required. This project must be scheduled and completed during the summer or fall of 2023. The City of East Moline reserves the right to reject any or all bids. * On-site inspections to gather information and measurements to prepare your bid, if desired, must be scheduled with the Fire Chief by calling (309) 752-1503.*
