Deadline for Questions July 12, 2023 14:00:00 Local Time Through this Request for Proposal, the City of Vernon (the "City") invites Proposals for Major Trades Contractors to join a highly collaborative Integrated Project Delivery ("IPD") team for the delivery of the Active Living Centre ("ALC") project. The City seeks to create partnerships with qualified Contractors to participate in the ALC project. The team(s) put forth should have considerable experience with construction of facilities which are similar to the ALC requirements. Experience and familiarity with collaborative ideology, methodology and growth mindset are fundamental. Onboarding for the Contractors would ideally commence approximately end of August 2023 leading to the Validation Phase scheduled to commence September 2023. The City requires Respondents to have available, qualified staff and capacity to deliver specialized expertise for all aspects of the IPD phases inclusive of: Pre-Validation - Validation - Design - Construction - Commissioning - Post Commissioning This RFP document sets-out: the details of the Services required; the process for submission, evaluation and award of the Contract; the terms and conditions of the Contract; plus, forms which outline the information a Respondent to this RFP should submit in their Proposal. Note that any questions being submitted are only available for viewing by the City of Vernon. Should questions arise that result in answers that have a material value to the project, they will be issued via an addendum for all proponents to view. The City of Vernon reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any proposal, and to accept the Proposal in total or in part, or to accept the Proposal which it deems most favourable in the interest of the City of Vernon.
