Project Type RFP (Request for Proposal) Response Types Cost File Response File ANY ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION Type of Award Lump Sum Categories 541611 - Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services 541613 - Marketing Consulting Services 541618 - Other Management Consulting Services 925120 - Administration of Urban Planning and Community and Rural Development The County of Stanislaus (County) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified and experienced organizations with expertise in multimodal transportation planning, traffic engineering, landscape architecture and urban design to develop a Corridor Plan to improve the connection between the communities of Modesto and Ceres for the County's Planning and Community Development Department located at 1010 10th Street, Suite 3400, Modesto, CA 95354. The Corridor Plan shall support the framework in the California State Transportation Agencys Climate Action Plan for Transportation Infrastructure (CAPTI) for aligning State transportation investments with the State's climate, health, and social equity goals, including reducing vehicle miles traveled and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, maximizing mobility and accessibility, preserving, and ensuring a sustainable regional transportation system, and protecting the environment and health. The County has partnered with, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to deploy an intensive community engagement process to identify land use and transportation strategies that will enhance the 9th Street corridor (visually and economically); improve the interface between the adjoining residential area to the east; and will provide greater connectivity to the north side of the Tuolumne River (into Modesto Downtown and Tuolumne River Regional Park). shall assist the County with both project management and coordinate/lead the community outreach efforts associated with this project. The selected consultant shall translate community input into a plan with conceptual designs for streets, public spaces and development opportunity sites and have an implementation strategy to fund improvements.
