Renovation of a library in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Convert exterior and interior historical doors at Beauchamp Library to ensure accessibility per ADA. The following is meant to be a synopsis of the procedures required to complete the project. It is not meant to be an exhaustive listing of every detail of the work required to successfully complete this project. Please also note that this project involves work regulations per the New York State Historical Preservation Office. Drawings, etc. will need to be submitted to them for approval. Project synopsis: Convert two doors, interior and exterior, to be accessible per ADA. Exterior Door Exterior door should be replaced, and a mullion installed. Accessibility hardware should be added. The existing transom panel should be reused, and the historical character of the doors should be matched as much as possible.
