Renovation of a stadium in Monroe, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Attorneys-in-fact who sign BID or payment and performance must file with each BOND a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney. The party to whom the contract is awarded will be required to execute the Agreement and obtain the performance BOND and payment BOND within ten (10) calendar days from the date when NOTICE OF AWARD is delivered to the BIDDER. The NOTICE OF AWARD shall be accompanied by the necessary Agreement and BOND forms. In case of failure of the BIDDER to execute the Agreement, the OWNER may consider the BIDDER in default, in which case the BID BOND accompanying the proposal shall become the property of the OWNER. The CONTRACTOR will commence the work required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS within 10 calendar days after the date of the NOTICE TO PROCEED and will complete the same within 180 calendar days unless the period for completion is extended otherwise by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS Bidder must agree to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $200.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in the General Conditions. The goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation is 1,74% of the dollar value of this contract. All bidders and proposers shall make good faith efforts to subcontract to the greatest extent feasible to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged businesses. Deposits on the first set of documents furnished by bona fide prime bidders shall be fully refunded upon the return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids. On other sets of documents furnished to bidders, the deposit less the actual cost of reproduction shall be refunded upon return of the documents no later than ten days after receipt of bids. Minority-owned firms and small businesses are encouraged to bid on this Project.
