Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Canon, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project consists of the following major elements: Installation of approximately 48 LF of 8'x7' precast box culvert with 2' of cover to handle a maximum load of 56,000 pounds, placement of approximately 40 TN of graded aggregate base, and placement of approximately 11 TN of recycled asphaltic concrete 9.5 mm superpave. All work shall be completed in accordance with Plans, Special Provisions, and the latest edition of the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, applicable Supplemental Specifications, and the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The work will be awarded in one Contract. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. Contract Time shall mean 90 consecutive calendar days liquidated damages the sum of $500.00
