A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to,
the following:

Trauma Services is dedicated to providing the highest quality of trauma care in a cost-effective
manner to the victims of trauma. LBJ Trauma Service is committed to providing comprehensive
quality health care for victims of trauma, community service through education, public
awareness of trauma prevention, and regional trauma networking to improve trauma
outcomes. HHS has retained Smith & Company Architects for existing department within the
existing LBJ Hospital including Outpatient Rehabilitation. This relocation is a part of a boarder
masterplan related to associated proposed campus development. LBJ Hospital is relocating the
Rehab department from the 4th floor of the hospital to the 1 st
floor connector building,
developing it into the new rehab outpatient department. This is approx. 5365 sq.ft.
B. Type of Contract:
1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
