The Boston VA Healthcare System is currently seeking a Contractor to provide Underground Storage Tank (UST) repairs to sumps, spill buckets in order to seal for hydrostatic inspection/testing services. The Boston VA Healthcare System has three facilities that have underground storage tanks. All USTs have Veeder Root or equivalent Automatic Tank Guage (ATG) monitoring systems. The anticipated performance period will be 1 August 2023 to 31 August 2023. Scope of Work Contractor must be MassDEP UST certified tank repair personnel. Contractor shall provide underground storage tank repairs to sumps, spill buckets in order to seal for hydrostatic inspection/testing services for the listed inventory below. VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) has three facilities that have underground storage tanks. All Underground Storage Tanks (UST) have Veeder Root or equivalent Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) monitoring systems. Contractor specialized training and certification shall permit the repair personnel with the tools to repair tanks, sumps and spill buckets in accordance with EPA regulations and MA 310 CMR 80.27(7, 8 & 9) Department of Environmental Protection]. These USTs support and fuel our Emergency Power for the facilities. Repair &/ or replace clamps, boots, bushings and fittings b. Hydrostatic testing of Sump and Spill Bucket VABHS - Brockton 940 Belmont Street Brockton, MA 02301 1. Bldg 67 - 4000-gal diesel UST a. Repair &/ or replace clamps, boots, bushings and fittings b. Hydrostatic testing of Sump and Spill Bucket 2. Bldg 68 - 2500-gal diesel UST a. Repair &/ or replace clamps, boots, bushings and fittings b. Hydrostatic testing of Sump and Spill Bucket VABHS - Jamaica Plain 150 South Huntington Avenue Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 1. Bldg 1A- Generator 4000-gal diesel UST a. Repair &/ or replace clamps, boots, bushings, fittings and or pipe corrosion b. Hydrostatic testing of Sump and Spill Bucket c. Submit results of hydrostatic testing to both MassDEP & VA 2. Boiler Plant - Generator 10000-gallon UST a. Hydrostatic testing of Sump and Spill Bucket b. Submit results of hydrostatic testing to both MassDEP & VA All services shall be performed in accordance with local, state, and federal tank inspection/testing regulations and guidelines. Testing/Inspection reports shall be provided to VABHS within 5 working days of performing the service. Services shall be scheduled within 5 working days of notification from VABHS. Services shall be conducted between the hours of 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday excluding federal holidays. Contractor shall contact the facility GEMS Coordinator to schedule all repairs and inspections. 2.0 Period of Performance: The anticipated performance period will be 1 August 2023 to 31 August 2023. NO CHANGES TO THIS STATEMENT OF WORK WILL BE MADE WITHOUT THE CONTRACTING OFFICER'S WRITTEN CONSENT The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
