As of August 6, 2024, this project is in the conceptual phase. An engineer has not been selected but an awarded is expected to be made in the near future. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The County of Charlotte will be receiving sealed proposals at the Purchasing Division, Suite 344, Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, FL 33948-1094, for: RFP NO. 2023000366 DESIGN SIDEWALKS - CARING WAY AND BRINSON AVENUE Charlotte County is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional engineering services for the design of sidewalks on Caring Way, from Olean Boulevard to Gertrude Avenue; and on Brinson Avenue, from Caring Way to Harbor Boulevard.
