(MRPC) owns and operates a 4.6 MW run-of-river hydroelectric generating station in Almonte, Mississippi Mills, Ontario. The generators deliver three-phase energy at 4,160 V to this transformer; the transformer delivers output to the local grid at 44 kV. The new unit must be a one-for-one replacement of the existing unit, both physically and electrically. It is intended to install the new unit in place of the existing unit upon arrival; the existing unit will be kept as a spare. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
