Seminole County seeks a qualified General or Building Contractor to replace the existing windows and storefront door unit with commercial style hurricane rated, impact resistant windows and doors at FS-34 at 4905 Wayside Dr. Sanford, FL 32771. The project will consist of removing the existing windows, storefront door and exterior mounted hurricane shutters and replacing them with hurricane rated, impact resistant windows and doors that conform to the large missile impact rating form high velocity Hurricane Zones, or (HVHZ). All windows and doors will be energy efficient, tinted to reduce glare and will be fully operational as to provide opened. In addition, window will comply with the specifications for hurricane rated impact resistant ratings as specified in the Florida Building Code and Miami Dade Standards for HVHZ and large missile impact resistance.
