Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to the replacement office building located on the existing lot. The replacement building area will be approximately the same square footage, masonry construction with a standing seam roof, to include administration spaces with reception, waiting and conference spaces, staff area with offices and training areas and support space to include a golf cart storage. The existing site will be modified to continue to connect this building with the Faculties Management Michigan Street campus site. The County reserves the right to itemize these expenses in the fee schedule. Submittal of a bid bond less than 10% of the total estimated contract amount for base period, shall result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. In the alternative, a Certified Check, or a Cashier's Check shall be required to accompany each electronic offer in a stated dollar amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the sum of the total estimated contract amount for the base period. A bid shall constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days from the public opening date or until the date of award.
