Renovation and addition to an elderly care / assisted living facility in Arnprior, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 22,120-square-foot, one-story above grade, 32-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for the renovation of a 16,700-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility.

M. Sullivan & Son Ltd. acting as Construction Managers on behalf of Arnprior Regional Health is undertaking the construction of a 32 bed - Grove Expansion Long-Term Care Home Development Project located in Arnprior, Ontario. The expanded facilities of the long term care home will be approximately 22,120 square feet of a new addition building on the grounds of a fully demolished existing LTC Home. The project includes the renovation of 16,700 square feet of an existing building adjoining the addition building. The major occupancy for the addition and renovated existing building will be B2, and both the new and renovated building construction will be non-combustible and fully sprinklered. Also included in the project scope are associated site services, including the construction of parking areas, and landscaped courtyards. The addition building is a single-storey building. It has a slab on grade ground floor with structural masonry bearing walls and steel beams supporting metal deck roof. The building will be clad primarily in metal cladding on a metal stud infill back up wall. Portions of the renovated old building are refurbished with new metal cladding. Re-roofing over the new and existing portions of the building will also be required with a complete membrane assembly. All sub-trade contractors who are interested in the above noted project shall contact M. Sullivan & Son Ltd. to receive the required bid documents. Tender closing for all scopes of work will be no later than July 26, 2023 (or as outlined in the Instruction to Tenders for the respective scope package). Any company performing any work on the site which would come within the jurisdiction of any of the Unions listed (Labourers, Carpenters, Operating Engineers, Masons, Glazers) will be required to conform to and adhere to the provisions of that Collective Agreement. * The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
