Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Lake George, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The selected candidate will work with LCLGRPB to advance Strategy 4C of Building Balanced Communities for the North Country: A Comprehensive Housing Study and Strategy, to "create a "branded" pre-approval program for APA's review and approval of workforce housing development projects." Proposed scope alternatives are accepted. Project tasks include, but are not limited to the following items: Review and analysis of the current APA review and approval process for development. Conduct targeted outreach to municipal officials, consultants, and developers who have experienced the approval process to understand and evaluate the user experience. Identify any misconceptions, gaps, and inefficiencies in the current process. Develop a framework for an APA pre-approval program for workforce housing and a strategy for implementation that can be presented to the APA, and state and local elected officials and representatives. Coordination with representatives from the APA and other interested parties throughout the development of the framework. Written questions accepted until July 19, 2023 @ 12PM.
