Inspections, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Ordinary and Emergency Repairs on the Admirals Hill Water Pumping Station and the Carter Street Drainage Pumping Station. Question Deadline 06/30/2023. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check: of the bidder or a bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the City, in the amount of 5% of the bid, payable to the "City of Chelsea" and must be filed with the original bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish performance bonds and payment bonds in the contract amount and with surety satisfaction to the City, in an award form this Invitation for Bids. The Bidder must pay all costs. The Performance Bond shall be in the sum of 100% of the contract price. The Payment Bond shall be in the sum of 100% of the contract price. The bond shall be provided by the successful bidder to the City within five business days of the contract award. The contract term will commence on August 1, 2023 through July 31, 2024 with two additional one-year options, at the sole discretion of the City, from August 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025 and August 1, 2025 - July 31, 2026 respectively. The City of Chelsea reserves the right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City.
