The City of Marshfield is seeking sealed bids for the purpose of hauling aggregate, gravel, and rock from Lile Quarry and/or Conco Quarry from the 107 exit along I-44 to job sites within the City of Marshfield. The bid shall consist of a price per ton for material hauled. Material will be billed from the Quarries and will be paid by the City of Marshfield. The bid is ONLY for the cost of hauling material, not the material itself. Bidders shall be available to haul to a designated work site within four (4) hours of notification of needing materials. In the case that the four (4) hour window cannot be met, the next lowest bidder will be called and authorized to haul the requested material. The low bidder will be notified first. In the event of a tie bid, request for materials will be alternated between bidders. In cases where large quantities are needed, the City reserves the right to call multiple bidders to get the materials needed, sub-contracting of any kind is prohibited. The City of Marshfield reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
