Description

Site work and new construction of a civil project in Le Haut-Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a 3,800-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Construction of a new municipal drinking water filtration plant. The project includes construction of a building partially located above the water reservoirs (disinfection basin and waste water basin) and an underground mechanical gallery, all in reinforced concrete. The new building will receive new process equipment associated with the treatment of water from the wells. The scope of the project also includes installation of required pipelines, pumping equipment and associated road work. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in fall 2026. According to the owner's scheduling a tender for the general contractor is anticipated in mid-2027, completion of construction is planned for 2028. Note. The project is included in the owner's three-year capital expenditure plan 2026-2028 with a total amount of $16.3.
