Site work and new construction of a civil project in Le Haut-Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a 3,800-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Construction of a new municipal drinking water filtration plant. The project includes construction of a building partially located above the water reservoirs (disinfection basin and waste water basin) and an underground mechanical gallery, all in reinforced concrete. The new building will receive new process equipment associated with the treatment of water from the wells. The scope of the project also includes installation of required pipelines, pumping equipment and associated road work. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded an architectural consultant to complete the project design and construction work surveillance. Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in mid-fall 2023. Owner expects that the project design will be completed in December 2023 to issue a tender for the general contractor in early 2024.
