The successful Bidder shall provide all skill; labor, material, and equipment for the conversion of four (4) tennis courts (courts 5, 6, 7, & 8) at the North Glynn Recreation Complex, located at 622 Harry Driggers Boulevard, Brunswick, GA 31520, to twelve (12) Pickleball courts. Each set of double tennis courts will be converted to six (6) Pickleball courts. Courts will be separated with 6' black vinyl clad chain link fence (9 gauge) with two 4 foot (4') gates to be installed as specified on the included layout plan. The double tennis court size is approximately 108' x 120'. Each Pickleball court in a double tennis court area should consist of the Pickleball playing area of 20' x 44' and the total size of each court with overruns is approximately 36' x 60'. The project includes site preparation, crack filling, court leveling, footer installation, fence installation, and court resurfacing/repainting. The selected vendor will provide all materials, supplies, equipment, and labor to complete the work in compliance with the American Sports Builders Association court specifications. The selected vendor will complete the work within forty-five (45) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the construction drawings, if any. All material shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications. Any questions and /or misunderstandings that may arise from this invitation shall be submitted, in writing and forwarded, to the Procurement Officer, Resden Talbert at rtalbert@glynncounty-ga.gov no later than July 10th, 2023. All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted electronically no later than July 14th, 2023. All questions are required to be submitted in written form. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation for bid will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. All contact concerning this solicitation shall be made through the Procurement Officer. Bidders shall not contact County employees, Department Heads, Evaluation Committee Members or Elected Officials with questions or any other concerns about the solicitation.
