Roxana Community Park District Picnic Road and Parking Improvements Roxana Community Park District is accepting bids for a project to widen and resurface the roadway to, and resurface and detail the parking lot for the picnic shelters in Roxana Park, 2 Park Drive, Roxana, IL 62084. SCOPE OF WORK: oExcavate earth areas to accommodate approximately 1047 SQYD of new asphalt - 767 SQYD of roadway and 280 SQYD parking lot (remove spoils from sight) oFurnish and install 8" rock base in excavated areas (1047 SQYD) oGrade and compact existing lot and road to accommodate new asphalt of approximately 2357 SQYD oFurnish and install 3.5" of hot mix asphalt on existing and new rock - approximately 3404 SQYD (include 1" extra asphalt on trash truck heavy duty lane - 664SQYD) oFurnish and install striping on new asphalt parking lot ooptional - separate quote: furnish and install 30 parking blocks ADDITIONAL: oInterested parties must visit site to submit a bid. o Work should be completed in one phase. oPrevailing wage applies. oCertificate of Insurance required. oNo permits, surveying, signage or backfilling.
