Calumet Public School District 132, Calumet Park, IL 60827 will receive sealed bids for: GYMNASIUM ADDITION CALUMET SCHOOL DISTRICT 132 AT CALUMET MIDDLE SCHOOL - PROJECT # 2021.092 ATTN: STEVE CORLEY This project involves work at Calumet Middle School. The work in general includes, but is not limited to, an addition to the existing building which will include a gymnasium, classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, toilet rooms, locker rooms, concessions, and associated support spaces, and all associated site, detention, structural, and MEPFP work. Work is to be awarded as a single contract. Refer to the Drawings and Project Manual for the full extent of the Work. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. Participation by minority and women-owned businesses as first level subcontractors or suppliers is required for a minimum 20% of the contract amount in accordance with the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Females and Persons with Disabilities Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept Bid(s) that, in its opinion, will serve the best interest of the District. Any such decision shall be considered final. The Owner reserves the right to set aside a Bid from a Contractor who, in the Owner's opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
