Site work and new construction of a retail development in Bishop, California. Working plans call for the construction of a retail development; and for site work for a retail development.

The Bishop Paiute Tribe is issuing a Call for Bids for the West Line Street Retail Center Phase II Project.for the following project: Description: Project consists of a single story 8,110 SF, Retail Center with six identified future tenant spaces. The new construction consists of a single story, wood frame, wood roof trusses, with standard finishes. The building includes a single accommodation restroom for each respective tenant space. Included are complete plumbing, HVAC systems and electrical. Civil and landscaping have been completed under previous contract. Site work includes selective demolition of curbing and asphalt with new curbing, sidewalk, and asphalt. The Bishop Paiute Tribe will be acting as the general contractor for the project. A standard form of agreement between Contractor (Bishop Paiute Tribe) and Subcontractor will be used. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the designated bid time. Any bids received after the time of opening will not be considered. Procurement and Contracting Documents: Contract Documents will not be issued by the Owner or Architect. General Contractors and Sub-Contractors may contact for drawings and specifications at their own expense. An invitation will be issued to those wishing to participate. Those wishing to attend must send contact information via email to tonyj@wwomer.com with the Subject Line; "Bishop Paiute Tribe - West Line Retail Center Phase II". All sub-contractors are encouraged to attend. This is a Federally funded project and Bishop Paiute Tribal Prevailing Wages apply. Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) regulations apply and TERO Compliance Plan Agreements will be required. The 4% TERO administrative fee for this project has been waived by the Bishop Paiute Tribal Council per Tribal Resolution T2021-59. The Bishop Paiute Tribe is a federally recognized Indian Tribe and as such is exempt from Sales Tax. As such, all bids should not include any California sales tax on the materials purchased for installation on this project but will be required to pay the Tribal Materials Tax of 6%.
