Renovation of a residential development in Greer, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Summary of Work The project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following work: 1. Remove existing HVAC system and ductwork and install new all electric heat pump HVAC system including new ductwork, remove and replace water heater, upgrade electrical meter center and perform blower door testing. Each prime bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Bid Bonds and Performance and Payment Bonds must be secured by a guaranty or a surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and shall be within the maximum amount specified for such company in said Circular 570. The "Bid Bond" and the "Performance and Payment Bond" must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state where the project is located, and must be listed in U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Prime bidders tendering a bonafide bid,except the successful Contractor, will be refunded their full deposit upon return of the bidding documents in good condition within 14 days after bid opening.
