The San Jacinto River Authority is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) for Professional Engineering Services for the Elevated Storage Tank No. 6 Project. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) solicits information that will enable SJRA to select one or more Consultant(s) that shall provide professional services for professional design engineering for the proposed 1 million gallon (MG) elevated storage tank (EST) including site, utility, electrical, mechanical and control design. The proposed EST site is currently undeveloped. Consultant shall provide professional engineering services for the Elevated Storage Tank No. 6 project. Services consist of: Provide project management, preliminary design, final design, survey, and geotechnical investigation to facilitate the project. The project will be comprised of a new 1 MG composite elevated storage tank and site development, including all necessary utilities and electrical and control systems. Following design, the consultant will provide procurement assistance and construction phase services during construction, unless otherwise notified by SJRA. Consultant may be required to perform site visits, document site observations, participate in progress meetings, upload reports to SJRAs Procore site, verify compliance with specifications, and other services to support quality assurance efforts. Please note, emailed SOQs are not accepted. Questions and inquiries about this Solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the point of contact in the Brazos Valley e-Marketplace. The deadline for written questions is Monday, July 17, 2023, at @ 5:00 P.M. CST. This deadline has been established in order to provide adequate time for SJRA staff to prepare responses to questions from Respondents to the best of their ability in advance of the due date and time. Respondents shall not attempt to contact SJRA Board members, staff, or Management directly about this RFQ from the date of release until award of the Contract. SJRA intends to respond to all appropriate questions or concerns; however, SJRA reserves the right to decline to respond to any question or concern. All material modifications, clarifications or interpretations will be incorporated into an addendum which will be publicly posted on the e-Marketplace System. All addenda issued prior to the due date and time for responses are incorporated into the RFQ and must be acknowledged in the SOQ response. Only written information provided shall be binding.
