Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Troy, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The work includes but is not limited to the removal of asbestos containing materials according to the requirements of the following specification and as follows: 1. Work in this project includes the removal and disposal of the following materials: a. Resilient floor tile and mastic in areas shown on the asbestos abatement drawings. At completion of removal, floor shall be smooth enough for the installation of new resilient flooring without additional work. All material shall be treated as asbestos-containing material. b. All pipe insulation and mudded fittings exposed or located in concealed spaces (behind walls, pipe chases and above ceiling assemblies etc.), regardless of kind, in locations as shown on the asbestos abatement drawings. All material shall be treated as asbestos-containing. c. All pipe insulation and mudded fittings, regardless of kind, as shown on the asbestos abatement drawings as being located in the crawl space / pipe tunnels. All material shall be treated as asbestos-containing. d. Hot water tank insulation that is shown on the asbestos abatement drawings. In lieu of cleaning, tank and cradle may be removed as ACM. All material shall be treated as asbestos-containing material.
