Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a residential development in Milford, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the construction of a residential development; for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
** As of August 30, 2023, project received no bids. No definite date for the rebid.** The Project includes the following Work: Interior demolition and reconstruction to include architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Demolition will include hazardous material abatement. Reconstruction includes the build out of office space, conference room, ADA toilet rooms, and storage. Vehicle lifts will be installed in the vehicle repair bay space. ADA accessibility to the front entrance will be added, as well as ADA parking and accessible route. Separate Bids will be received for the following Contracts: Contract GC-1 - General Construction Contract EC-1 -Electrical Construction Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least five (5) percent of the amount of the Bid payable to the Pike County as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will, within fifteen (15) days after the award of the Contract, execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds and Certificate(s) of Insurance. OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED: Pike County, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Owner. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner is exempt from payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and of cities and counties thereof on all machinery and equipment to be incorporated into the Work. All other items including building materials remain subject to all applicable sales tax.
