The Town of St. Albans is currently accepting proposals as follows for the town's 2023 road projects: 1,500 to 2,000 cubic yards of 3/4 " minus crushed surface gravel or ledge 250-500 cubic yards of crushed ledge dust Questions about the terms or conditions of the bid specifications are to be directed to: Charlin Williams, Acting Town Manager ,7 Water Street, St. Albans, ME 04971, 207-938-4568 Please include a copy of your certificate of liability insurance and workers comp insurance with the bid. No bids will be accepted without this information. The St. Albans Board of Selectmen shall consider any and all bids submitted. The Board may award the bid on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at their Regular Board meeting. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, based on what they deem to be in the best interest of the Town. 1. Materials price based upon FOB at source. 2. Supply hourly truck rates and truck size for delivery of materials bid. 3. Bidders should supply a gradation analysis of the material confirming it meets standards 4. Supply location of proposed materials and allow inspection and/or testing by Town Personnel with prior coordination (upon appropriate notice). 5. Town reserves the right to reject any material supplied not meeting minimum specifications 6. Delivery of material should be available between the following dates: 7/15/2023 - 11/30/2023.
